Ties & Bow Ties Obsession

Lately, I have begun to lust after bright & pretty ties & bow ties. But I have no idea how to wear them! All I can think of is with collard shirts, which I dislike wearing.
I found this great pattern for a bow tie, and I think this weekend if I have any time I might try making it!

In the meantime, I've gathered some colorful inspiration!

    I love the bright colors! I'm not sure how you would wear them, maybe you could wear it loose with a white or black tshirt to make the bow tie pop. :)

    That is totally crazy, Ive been after ties lately too!! Especially when thrifting! There are some pretty cute ones if you look hard enough! LOVE your blog lady! :)

    The bow ties are so adorable! I have a friend who wears bow ties as bracelets :) maybe that's an idea? ^^ x

    Those lady bow ties are so cute! And bow ties in general are just plain handsome on boys:) I'm trying to talk my husband into wearing a bowtie, but he is a little shy of going out of his style comfort zone. ha, I think any man can pull it off tho!

    I used to loop large ties through the beltloops in my jeans - if they're long enough, you can still tie a proper knot on the side and let it hang down!
