What I Wore: Party, Party!

The other night I went to one of those work parties, you know, the ones that everyone dresses up for, where you eat free appetizers and drink overpriced drinks, where there is an obligatory speech then everyone goes to work the next day pretending like they aren't hungover? That kind of party (I wasn't hungover - don't worry! But everyone else was and it was hilarious to watch!)
Anyway, this is what I wore:





Dress & Blazer: H&M
Tights & Belt: Target
Boots: Thrifted

These boots are actually one of my best thrifting finds; they were originally priced at $140, down to $100, and I snagged them for $30! They're my fall staple for sure, and I probably over-wear them, but I just love them too much not to!

    oh my, i love these boots! they are just perfect :) my staple items of the moment are my new ankle worker boots and my colection of colored tights. I'll wear them everyday if I can! ^^ x

    I love that the boots and the patches on your jacket match :) unfortunately I wore out my staple items last year....but I'm looking forward to re-stocking this year (black sweater dress, cognac boots, various tights)

    That is such a cute outfit! Love that dress... I wonder if my H&M has it! ;) And the boots are super cute too, they are the kind you can wear with anything.

    Work parties are hilarious! I love the little scandals that unfold and then the next day everyone pretends like it never happened. ;)

    yay! i'm glad i'm not the only one wearing boots now. my husband was complaining that i look silly wearing boots when it's barely the end of summer. errr. no. i beg to differ! you look so chic!
