Being both a designer and a lover of all things pretty means that wedding invites & wedding stationary always make me drool. I discovered the site 100 Layer Cake and just fell in love immediately.
I'm not saying I don't love weddings and dresses and flowers, because I do (lover of pretty things, remember?) but the design & crafts & decorating is my passion. I'm definitely not ready to get married for a few years (and it's upsetting to me that we're still arguing the issue of gay marriage...) but I love helping my friend plan hers and weddings in general always make me happy.
I've rounded up some of my favorite wedding stationary and decorations from my bookmarks around the web...as well as showing off some seriously nice typography :)

Are you guys wedding fans, or wedding stationary fans? Or am I alone in my weird obsession?
I am definitely wedding stationary obsessed. A little too obsessed probably, since I have been trying to pick mine out for like 4 months! There are just so many adorable options from super talented people. I love all the ones you featured too! :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday!
You are most definitely not alone in your obsession. I LOVE the first and last examples you posted. The typography on all of them are fantastic though!
ReplyDeleteDefinite wedding fan here. I spend hours on theknot.com looking at things and making little plans. I'm trying to convince my boyfriend to (someday, far from now) have a Harry Potter themed wedding.
ReplyDeleteOf the photos you've got there, I'm particularly fond of the second setting and the "Summer Social" one. I think it's the pink that catches my eye on that one, to be honest.
the typography makes me swoon!!!
ReplyDeleteI love reading wedding blogs even though I'm light-years away from being ready for my own. Weddings are just so full of hope and love, and the details!!!
Oh wow! This is a great post, I adore the invitation :) And the 'Big Day News' is too cute!
